The Jamaica Urological Society, a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization, was formed in 1993. The Society is a regional partner of the Caribbean Urological Association and hosts conferences and training workshops for Urologists and Urology Residents in Jamaica and the wider Caribbean. Members of the Society also volunteer at screening clinics for prostate cancer organised by the Jamaica Cancer Society.
